The assignment for Ordina was to create a trend analysis for 2030 and process it into an infographic. The subject, as you can see, was big data. Big data is a far-reaching subject, so we had to frame the subject to always online.

 

My job was to find out everything there is to no about the topic augmented reality and make a prediction of how it will develop in the next couple of years. I had to advise others on their topics and join creative sessions for the infographic. The result was the infographic you see above. Ordina used it for a client of theirs.

 

I find the topic augmented reality very interesting. Although the infographic is futuristic even for 2030, I really think it has a great future. With that come great opportunities. The Google Glasses are just a beginning of a new era. It'll take a few years before the concept of Google Glasses is integrated into society. But once it is integrated it will have a snowball effect. The bionic eye suddenly isn’t so far away anymore. Life will change. We take information for granted. We will consume information any time any were, with few boundaries.

 

I must admit that google glasses are fun. However, I do not see it as the "real" augmented reality. The glasses are the first in is kind. The first smartphone wasn’t that great either. It proved it’s usefulness and now it’s not possible to life without. It changed our way of life.
