This assignment was to develop a new vision for the nature policy in the Netherlands. The Minister of Economics thought they needed that because they have been doing the same things for years.We had to make a future based scenario in the form of an article and make an experience out of it.

 

We got selected with another group to give a presentation for the Ministery itself. The reactions we got were very good. The purpose of the experience was to encourage them to think about the future of nature. We achieved that goal.

 

The scenario subjects in a nutshell:
Back to nature/ biomimicry
The infrastructure goes up in the air
Urban farming
Energy comes  from all kinds of things

 

The experience we presented was in the form of a news broadcasting and a talkshow. The news broadcasting and talkshow that we performed are very famous in the Netherlands, so everybody could relate to it.

 

My job was to research the current policy. The most fun part was to research what the trends regarding to nature are and what others think will happen over the next 20 years. With that information we had to make a future analisis based on what we thought would happen.
